LINKS DONATES $13K to BREAST CANCER NETWORK AUSTRALIA
The dynamic sales team at LINKS Property have achieved an impressive fundraising campaign result for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). High property demand and record sales have contributed to the successful “Paint It Pink!” initiative. A heartfelt campaign, hosted locally in Torquay since 2013.
The all-female team at LINKS Property painted the Surf Coast pink from May through July in support of Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). One thousand dollars (AUD) from every home sold and newly listed over this period was kindly donated by LINKS Property to BCNA. The homes participating in this lively campaign were clearly spotted by the pink ‘for sale’ signs and popular pink ‘sold’ stickers.
“For 2018 we are very, very excited to present BCNA with a monster cheque for $13K!” says LINKS Founder and Director, Lynne Hayden, “Our passionate sales team have worked so hard over the 12 week fundraising and awareness campaign for BCNA.” The official LINKS logo and all print advertising in the glossy Surf Coast times property section also turned pink for the duration of the campaign. “Supporting such a fantastic organisation is very easy.” says LINKS Partner and Agent, Suzy Jones, “We are motivated and inspired by the network of committed BCNA members who make the breast cancer journey better for the people diagnosed with breast cancer and all those around them.”
BCNA CEO Kirsten Pilatti said her organisation could not exist if it wasn’t for the generous donations made by supportive companies like LINKS Property. “Every year in Australia 18,800 women and 150 men are told they have breast cancer. BCNA cannot exist without the community support of people like LINKS Property but also from the women and the men who come and volunteer for us here in the office or in the community.”. Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) works to ensure that Australians affected by breast cancer receive the very best support, information, treatment and care appropriate to their individual needs.
