Suzy Jones grew up in Melbourne where she spent many years of my working career in varied Sales and Marketing roles before packing up to move to Torquay for a ‘Sea Change’.

Since moving to Torquay both her, and her husband resigned from their corporate jobs in Melbourne to pursue careers within the local industry.

Having worked for the Surf Coast Shire for five years in Planning & Environment, and Leisure & Community Services, Suzy is well aware of local building regulations and plan of subdivisions. After leaving the SCC she joined surf company Quiksilver where she worked for two years as an Executive Assistant to both the APAC Chief Financial Officer and the Product Director before leaving to become a mother to Otis at the end of 2006. Looking for a balance between parenthood and a corporate career Suzy joined the team at Golf Retreats as Property Manager for the Surf Coast and Mornington Peninsula.

Since joining GRV she have been involved not only in the growth of the GRV portfolio but also in the creating of its sister company ‘Coast Retreats’. Suzy has recently joined the dynamic sales team at Links Property where she can call on her knowledge from once living on The Sands! Having personally enjoyed the many opportunities that Links Property provides to acquaint newcomers at The Sands she is able to assist them in finding the property that fits their needs. Karen started her working life in Melbourne, where she was a Myer executive trainee in the early years of the Miss Melbourne Shop.

After marrying and moving to the States, Karen followed her husband Tom, a career US Navy person, around the country (and world) on his various military assignments.

When Karen and Tom moved back to Australia in 2003, a decision was made to find a spot where Tom could play his favourite sport, golf, and Karen could have her daily walks on the beach, while still having easy access to city life in Melbourne. The Sands, Torquay fitted the criteria to a ‘T’. So in 2005, Karen and Tom purchased a block of land (from Lynne Hayden) and built their retirement home.

Since moving to Torquay, Karen was employed by Mirvac for four years, providing sales support to their ‘Coast at the Sands’ development. During this phase of her employment, she worked closely with Lynne Hayden. When TLP expanded into the rental market, a property management assistant was required, so Karen has come on board to assist Lynne in this segment of her business.

They say you are never too old to learn, and to prove that, Karen has just completed her REIV agent’s representative course. This knowledge, combined with her wealth of experience and great enthusiasm, will provide the administrative level of support LTP requires.

Leanne Howlett is a property sales executive specializing in off the plan sales and marketing.

After completing a Bachelor of Business in Tourism/Marketing at Victoria University, she commenced her career with the Mirvac Group.

After two years as Sales Executive for Mirvac Hotels Leanne was approached to join the property project sales team and commenced employment with the Mirvac Group Development Division in 2001. Leanne contributed to the sales success of SY21, Yarra’s Edge Docklands and at Beacon Cove, integrated housing at The Heath and the launch of Waverley Park.

Mirvac’s shift into coastal development enabled Leanne to be responsible for the sale of Coast at The Sands Torquay launched summer 2004 and saw stage one 90% sold. Leanne’s experience and reputation for success secured her position as Mirvac’s top sales performer for the financial years ending 2003 & 2004 executing sales in excess of $120 million in successive years.

During 2005 Leanne led the sales & marketing team at The Sands Torquay. This project further enhanced Leanne’s experience in both land and off the plan sales. More recently, Leanne owns and operates Golf Retreats Victoria, an accommodation booking service offering luxury self containing accommodation in close proximity to some of Victoria’s most prestigious regional and metropolitan golf courses.

In 2007 Leanne took some time off to be a Mother to Coco before joining Torquay Links Property. Torquay Links Property is thrilled to have Leanne as part of the team as Sales & Leasing Consultant for The Sands Torquay.
